TANABATA 七夕 – Garden Aperitivo

July 7th to 10th 

TENOHA celebrates the Stars Feast, Tanabata, one of the best known traditional Japanese festivals.

Tanabata (七夕 “seventh night”) is the feast of the stars in love, one of the most romantic and beloved feasts of the Japanese calendar. It celebrates the reunification of the divinities Orihime and Hikoboshi, representing the stars Vega and Altair. According to the myth, after the two lovers were separated from the Milky Way, they could only meet once per year, on the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar.

Make a Wish!
One of the most important recurrences of the Tanabata is to write your wish on a TANZAKU 短 冊 and hang it on the bamboo tree. Come and get your tanzaku!

From 15th till 28th of June, Tenoha Taste propose a special A5 Grade Hida Wagyu menu. Five courses with traditional cooking techniques to enhance three different cuts of one of the finest Japanese cattle breeds: shoulder, rib eye, rump.

From 25th till 29th of March, Tenoha Taste presents the Wagyu Week: a special tasting & show-cooking event to discover one of the finest beef in the world. During this new dining experience you will have the unique opportunity to taste three different premium Wagyu qualities: our chef’s selection includes Hida, Miyazaki and Ozaki wagyu, three of the best breeds from the most reknowned Japanese farms in Gifu and Miyazaki prefecture. Choose between two tasting menus: four or five courses created with three different beef cuts.
